What to expect at moonlight
Food and Catering
There will be a variety of food stalls, selling stews, whole chickens and veg, pancakes, breakfasts and more, including yummy game burgers.
Showers
We have a communal shower block, which consists of separate sides for ladies and gents. And get this, they have hot and cold taps, so you mix as if you were home.
Medical
Our medical team is run by Rescue One and we will have a fully equipped 4×4 ambulance at the event, as well as Advanced Life Support paramedics.
Internet and Connectivity
This is a very remote area and whilst we do have some signal it is limited. The best network to be on is Mascom, which also gives some data connection so you can post all your photos on social media, while you’re there.

Bar Facilities
Full bar kitted with spirits and mixes. An awesome gin and cocktail bar along with hot alcholoic beverages including Gluwine and Irish coffees.
Toilets
We have VIP toilets, which are normally situated in the arena area. The portable, flushable toilets are then spread out and placed not too far away from campsites.
Rescue Crew
A fully kitted rescue team is available to help you get out the “Botswana Cement”. You will only get stuck if you go far out from the main camp. If you need their services, it will be at an addition charge.
Money Matters
If you are coming from outside of Botswana, you can draw money using your VISA card at any of the main town ATMs. At the event we will have a swipe machine and will also run the event on a cashless system.
Tea and Coffee
Since we all know what a boost you’ll need after a good party, we will have tea and coffee on tap all day and of course into the night to keep you warm.
Water Availability
If you have brought your own camping shower, we will have water available for you to draw from us. This is at no additional cost, just bring your own containers.
Fuel
At the turn off in Mokubilo, there is a filling station, Mokubilo Filling Station. This is the last garage to put in fuel. They specifically stock fuel for us, so please support them and their community.
Help Desk
Our help desk will be open as long as there are people in the main arena. You will be able to top up your cashless wrist band, as well as enquire about any of our activities. You will also be able to download GPS maps of the adventure trails.
THE VAST EXPANSE
Experience the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans in all its glory! Share it with your family, best mates and of course your dirt bike!
