We have discovered some exceptional accommodations along our remarkable trek in the Tuli Block!
Night zero and one are spent at Kwa Nokeng Lodge, meaning ‘at the river’ in the local language Setswana. This charming lodge overlooks the majestic Limpopo River, offering splendid views of indigenous trees and an array of bird-life. You may even catch a glimpse of a sunbathing crocodile or lounging hippo in the water. After taking a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, gather around the ‘mokoro’ bar, share stories, and make new friends with fellow travelers. As you enjoy a delightful dinner under the sprawling Mashutu tree, take in the serene atmosphere and prepare for a well-deserved rest. Start your day with a hearty breakfast provided by the Lodge before continuing your journey. At Kwa Nokeng Lodge, you have the option to order from an A’ La Carte menu or book buffet meals, including choices for children.
Night two and three bring us deep within the Tuli Block to Kwadiwa Ranch Lodge. This newly constructed safari lodge is nestled on the banks of the magnificent Limpopo River, surrounded by the untamed wilderness of Botswana’s Tuli Block near Bainsdrift. Immerse yourself in the enchanting experience offered by large lawns and a beautiful swimming pool, complete with a separate kiddies pool. Kwadiwa Ranch Lodge provides activities suitable for the entire family, such as boat cruises, game drives, and night drives.
